Your Role:

As our Head of Funding, you will play a pivotal role in securing the financial resources necessary to fuel our initiatives. You will drive innovative funding strategies, build meaningful relationships with donors, and champion our vision to potential partners and supporters. If you are a strategic thinker with a track record in fundraising, grant writing, and stakeholder engagement, we want to hear from you!

Key Responsibilities:

  • Strategic Leadership: Develop and implement comprehensive fundraising strategies aligned with our mission and goals.
  • Donor Engagement: Cultivate and maintain relationships with existing donors while identifying and pursuing new funding opportunities.
  • Grant Management: Lead grant proposal development and submission processes, ensuring alignment with our organizational priorities.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with program teams to understand funding needs and to craft compelling narratives that highlight the impact of our work.
  • Monitoring & Reporting: Analyse funding trends, track fundraising outcomes, and prepare regular reports for stakeholders.
  • Team Leadership: Build and mentor a high-performing fundraising team, fostering a culture of accountability and collaboration.

What We’re Looking For:

  • Experience: Minimum of 5 years of fundraising experience in the non-profit sector, preferably in education or poverty alleviation.
  • Proven Track Record: Demonstrated success in securing grants, conducting donor outreach, and managing fundraising campaigns.
  • Strong Communicator: Exceptional verbal and written communication skills with the ability to articulate our mission compellingly and engagingly.
  • Relationship Builder: A natural connector who thrives in networking and building strategic partnerships.
  • Passion for Our Mission: A genuine commitment to education and poverty alleviation with a global perspective.
